Hi! I was so thrilled to find your Rice Oriental Hamburger Helper recipe online. I’ve been devastated since they quit making it years ago, as it was always my favorite. My daughter has celiac disease and I have to modify this using gluten-free items. Gluten-free items are not made in low sodium as well, so it came out quite salty. Can you possibly provide modifications using full sodium beef broth, gravy package, and soy sauce?
Hi Amy! Thank you for your comment. Rice Oriental was a staple in our household growing up, so we were pretty devastated when they quit making it too. We are going to play around with this recipe and see what we can come up with for the gluten-free items. The liquid ratio is actually a little off on this recipe, so we were already planning to make corrections anyway.
