We are showing you how to make a simple and delicious pizza ring that is guaranteed to be a crowd-pleaser. This dish is essentially a combination of two great recipes in one, using a scratch-made biscuit base tossed with your favorite pizza ingredients and baked in a Bundt pan for an impressive, pull-apart meal.
Ingredients
For the Biscuits:
- 3 1/4 cups Southern Biscuit Mix Formula L
- 1 1/4 cups buttermilk
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
For the Pizza Filling: (Note: This step depends entirely on your individual taste. Feel free to swap or add your favorite pizza toppings!)
- A handful of pepperoni, cut into quarters
- 2 cups mild cheddar cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
- 1/4 to 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
- A dash of salt and pepper

Instructions
- Prep the Pan and Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F. Thoroughly grease and flour a bundt pan. Melt the 2 tablespoons of butter and set aside.
- Mix the Biscuit Dough: In a large bowl, combine the Southern Biscuit Mix and the buttermilk. Mix until completely combined. If the dough feels too sticky, add a little extra flour.
- Roll and Cut: Lightly flour your work surface and a rolling pin. Turn the dough out onto the floured surface and roll it to about a 1/2-inch thickness. Cut out 12 biscuits.
- (Side Note: If you ever want to make just plain biscuits, simply place these cutouts on a cookie sheet and bake at 400°F for about 15 minutes until golden brown!)
- Chill: For this specific pizza ring recipe, place the 12 cut biscuits into the freezer for a few minutes to firm up.
- Mix the Toppings: While the dough is chilling, grab a separate bowl and mix together the quartered pepperoni, mild cheddar, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, Parmesan, salt, and pepper.
- Assemble the Ring: Pull the biscuits out of the freezer and cut each one into quarters. Place the dough quarters into a large bowl, pour the 2 tablespoons of melted butter over them, and toss until evenly coated. Mix in your bowl of pizza toppings so everything is distributed.
- Bake: Pour the coated dough and topping mixture directly into your greased and floured bundt pan. Bake for 20 to 30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and cooked through.
Let the ring cool in the pan for a few minutes before inverting it onto a plate or cutting board. Serve warm with a side of marinara sauce for dipping!
