About

Welcome to Bobbi Jo’s

Hello! I’m Chastity, and welcome to my kitchen here in beautiful Chattanooga, Tennessee.

Bobbi Jo’s started as a simple, fun hobby with two goals in mind: sharing my favorite recipes and teaching my younger sister, Kim (who also happens to be the talented designer behind this website!), how to cook. I never expected this little project to reach so many people, and I am incredibly thankful for everyone who takes the time to watch, learn, and bake along with me.

The Story Behind the Name

If you’ve watched my videos, you probably already know the star of the show. I adopted Bobbi Jo, my sweet Border Collie and Newfoundland mix, in 2019. When she was just a puppy, she had to go through a series of hip surgeries. During her recovery, she loved doing nothing more than hanging out beside me in the kitchen. To keep her spirits up, we started filming videos making both doggie and human treats together.

Today, Bobbi Jo is a happy, healthy 7-year-old. These days, she prefers to spend her time doing active dog things—like swimming, wrestling with her brother, and taking plenty of long naps. Because she’s so busy, she isn’t in the kitchen quite as much.

What You’ll Find Here

Since Bobbi Jo is out enjoying her retirement from full-time sous-chef duties, this blog is now primarily focused on “human treats.” You’ll find a wide variety of recipes straight from my Chattanooga kitchen, including:

  • Traditional Southern Cooking: Classic, comforting recipes that feel like home.
  • Sourdough Baking: From fresh artisan loaves to creative sourdough discard recipes.
  • Healthier Alternatives: Plenty of low-carb and sugar-free options so you can enjoy the sweets without the guilt.
  • The Lost Cookbooks Show: Retro/Vintage Recipes from

Don’t worry, though—I still share an occasional doggie treat recipe for the furry friends in your life!

Thank you so much for stopping by, cooking with me, and being part of this amazing community.
